Formerly with BearingPoint Management & IT Consulting based in Japan (now known as PwC Consulting Inc.), Markus brings to the team at RLC an in depth understanding of corporate HR gained with companies such as Alpine Electronics and Toray Industries where he worked on Global HR strategies and Asia based Regional L&D Projects.
Born in Germany, educated in Australia and having spent 8 years working in Japan, Markus has spent the last 5 years in Thailand. After initially joining Resource Link Consulting Group as the Business Development Director in 2008 and spending 2 years as the General Manager there, Markus joined RLC Recruitment in 2012 to focus more on providing a premium, niche and customized approach to recruitment.
Markus specializes in working with business leaders to customize and tailor unique recruitment solutions for their businesses by drawing upon and leveraging his extensive experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Development and Leadership Development. Markus’s core recruitment focus areas or Senior HRM and Japanese & German speaking roles for MNCs in Thailand.
Markus also speaks fluent Japanese and German and is a known figure in both the Australian Thai Chamber and the American Thai Chamber of Commerce where he has been an active member in the business community over the past 5 years since coming to Thailand.

Richard has over 15 years’ experience in client management roles, and after 5 years in Thailand is the Business Development Director of RLC Recruitment, one of Thailand’s leading Technical & Automotive recruitment specialists.
Originally from London, Richard had a successful career in the fitness industry with Holmes Place PLC before moving into the field Wealth Management in the City of London with Barclays.
In addition to a deep understanding of the Thailand & ASEAN labor market, Richard’s extensive network in Automotive and Manufacturing industries runs throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
Richard is passionate about all things automotive and regularly consults for some of the world’s leading OEM and Tier 1 & 2 Automotive suppliers in Thailand. For the past 2 years Richard has sat on the Committee of the Automotive Focus Group of Thailand (AFG), whose members include General Motors, Ford Motor Company, BMW (Thailand) Continental Automotive Corporation and Bosch Automotive. Richard has also been a guest speaker at the UK and Australian Government Automotive Trade & Industry Missions to Thailand on topics such as the “State of the Thai Automotive Industry” and “Labor – Recruitment & Retention”.
